Pat Barone has defied all the odds life stacked against her and lived to tell her tale. The child of a southern belle food addict and an American Indian alcoholic, she often felt addiction was the only possible way to live. Much of her life was spent watching family drama playing out through the rear window of a car on a dusty Texas road. Apparently, she mistook this vista as a movie screen and thought it was a sign to pursue filmmaking, because her fixation took her to New York City, where she got her master’s degree in filmmaking from New York University.

Along the way, she recognized she was a food addict. After struggling with addiction for years, with little relief through traditional therapies, she realized fighting wasn’t leading her where she wanted and decided to shift perspective.

Looking at her addiction as a path, she began to explore healing.

As she healed herself, she learned to live life backwards, dropping off baggage and bad attitudes and 92 pounds along the way. Those 92 pounds turned into 110 pounds and have never returned, the sign of true healing.

In 2001, she began her own business as a professional coach (Catalyst Coaching LLC).

In 2012, she experienced a full Kundalini awakening – an enlightenment which sped her growth as a healer. Miracles followed and continue to occur daily in her practice as a Soul Awareness Healer and teacher of Kundalini Yoga.

If not healing and coaching clients, or writing about the experience, you can find her tweeting about the New York Yankees or at the movies.

A true renaissance spirit, she has earned a living as a waitress, film extra, assistant producer, camera operator, documentary filmmaker, film critic,  paralegal, police officer, hairdresser, diamontologist and jewelry designer,  editor, technical writer, yoga teacher, personal trainer and professional coach.

Pat met her spiritual guide at age 25, and has been healing herself and the world ever since. She has over 10,000 hours of experience working with her clients.

She also sings with abandon, even though it scares small children and every form of animal life.
